Steven has been working with since about May 2018. As you can see from the pictures above he started around 285lbs, dropped a quick couple lbs just from eliminating soda, worked his butt off, and within 5.5 months had dropped 67lbs. Towards the end of 2018 he was maintaining a weight of 210lbs. The coolest part of his success is all the battles he’s had to overcome. Not only has he overcame all the common issues like mental discipline, finding a proper diet that worked, shoulder and arm pains from working crazy hard in the gym, and staying consistent, but before he started losing weight he was still rehabbing reconstructive surgery on his ankle from a motorcycle accident. Even though he slightly hated me for targeting that ankle on stupid lil lower body exercises constantly for months and months, he was making serious gains in deadlifts once that ankle started improving. Then in February of 2019 he was walking one day and hear a pop and tore a tendon in that same ankle. He had to wait for months before surgery, get the procedure done, lay in bed in a cast, and walk with a cast for another couple months. And now he back to making gains! Nothing seems to slow him down. He’s been extremely consistent in ALL areas of his programming such as mobility, cardio, diet, weight lifting, trying strict diet regiments, water intake, rehab, and sleep. He never settles for where he’s at no matter how much progress he’s made. He’s always learning, asking how he can improve form, get stronger, get leaner, diet harder, and be more active. And I get the opportunity to learn more about the medical field from him, laugh a lot, test stuff out on him, and hang out with his awesome daughter and girlfriend.
