Known as “The Masterpiece”, one of many beautiful skyscrapers in the Kowloon district of Hong Kong, this wonderful structure towers over the Kowloon skyline. With the K11 art mall as it platform below, the building divides the remainder of its 67 floors between the Hyatt Regency Hong Kong and 345 residential flats. It’s official address is 18 Hanoi Road, Tsim Sha Tsai. I was able to catch this shot at street level off of Chatham Drive in Kowloon HK on my way to the main shopping district. As I walk down the streets in Honk Kong, I noticed that everywhere you looked, there was no undeveloped land. Every square inch of this amazing city is spoken for. With a dense population of 7.5 million people, the only way to grow is up. Just driving from the airport to Kowloon in HK, it’s amazing how many high rise buildings there are. I absolutely loved my trip to HK and next time I will have to make time to do the infamous “Star Bay cruise” which poses the infamous shot of the Hong Kong skyline with its grand view of the buildings and its beautiful lights!
