But wait, there’s MORE Pop Tarts! And I really hope they pull off these Pretzel Pop Tarts because, on paper, they win the award for the most outside-the-box-thinking I’ve seen in a long time. These have a pretzel-inspired crust and a salt flake topping. New fillings are fine and all, but enough with the Root Beer and Orange Crush Pop Tarts... let’s reinvent the crust. Surely a legitimate graham cracker crust would elevate those S’mores Pop Tarts. Or how about some Crop Tarts featuring croissant dough? And don’t even get me started on the Bakalavop Tarts, with a phyllo dough crust and syrupy, nutty filling. Ok, before I get ahead of myself, these pretzel Pop Tarts will debut in December.
