I had the pleasure of celebrating @bluebamboojacksonville ‘s 15th Anniversary last Saturday evening. Chef Dennis had guest chef @chefjoshagan and @intanskitchen_n_bakery treat us to a 5 course Indonesian dinner. They used many local ingredients and several from their own garden! The fun people we sat with made it an even more memorable night!
1st Course- Gado Gado- wax bean sprouts, cabbage, potato, quail egg, fried shallot, peanut sauce, sweet soy.
2nd Course- Risoles Ragout- crispy vegetable stuffed crepe, royal red shrimp, samba butter, carrot crudités.
3rd Course- Pepes Ikan- local snapper grilled in banana leaf, Indonesian basil, lemongrass, kafir lime leaf.
4th Course- Rendang- veal short rib, Indonesian red curry, Congaree and Penn Jupiter brown rice.
5th Course- Lapis Combo Legit- buttery layered sponge cake, coffee ice cream, espresso palm sugar syrup. Delicious!
