1 or 2? 🤩😋 both by @starinfinitefood  . . 1️⃣ Crispy Salmon 😍, roasted Brussels (tossed in garlic, coconut oil and coconut aminos), roasted tomatoes 🍅 on the vine and gnocchi (tossed in olive or avocado 🥑 oil and baked in cast iron on 450 for about 25 minutes (shake pan every few 8 minutes or so). Chimichurri: 1 head of cilantro, one head parsley, 1 cup kale, 1 handful basil 🌿 , 3 cloves garlic, 1 tablespoon coconut 🥥 aminos, 2 shakes red pepper flakes, juice from 1/2 lemon 🍋 squeezed, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4-1/3 cup olive oil. Process in food processor until smooth. . 2️⃣ Seared wild salmon seasoned with zataar seasoning and lemon 🍋 , sautéed garlic asparagus (heat 1 clove of garlic in 1 teaspoon of ghee over medium high heat and quickly sauté the asparagus with some salt and pepper (soaks up the garlic flavor), mushrooms 🍄 sautéed in just coconut 🥥 aminos no oil (trust me so good!), gluten free pasta 🍝 with tomatoes 🍅 and this sauce. [just posted a brand new video on The Mental Side of Fitness and it would mean the world to me if you went to watch it - the link is in my bio]. - Some people struggle with self control. - They want to lose fat but have difficulty saying “no.” - Often times they mentally justify it in saying they’re “flexible dieting.” - But flexible dieting doesn’t mean “eat junk and lose fat.” It means “don’t feel guilty for having a treat - but you still have to be wicked consistent to make significant, lasting changes.” - For them, practicing self control and saying “no” more often might help them achieve their goal. - Other people struggle with food anxiety. - They get anxious at the thought of going out to eat at a restaurant because they don’t want to “ruin their progress.” - They feel bad for having a slice of cake at their own birthday party. - They, logically, know it sounds silly and they often give their friends/family/clients amazing nutrition advice that promotes a more flexible approach...but they struggle with it themselves. - For them, saying “yes” more often and having a treat might help them achieve their goals. - Progress is not only measured in weight loss or fat loss or measurements or numbers or quantifiable data. - Progress is also measured in mental, emotional, and behavioral changes. - And, candidly, if you don’t improve your mindset first, any physical changes/improvements are going to be short-lived. - Because sustainable results only happen with a sustainable mindset. - Real quick. - Please do me a favor and click the link in my bio to watch the full video on this. Turkey Meatballs with Homemade Sauce Peas Corn and Avocado Fritters with yogurt ranch Refrigerator Pickles ... because that's a staple for Summer dinners. Recipes you ask ??? 👇👇👇 Turkey Meatballs: (Frozen ... I know , I know ) Bbq Sauce: Tomato Sauce Coconut Sugar Garlic Powder Lemon juice Mustard Avocado & Corn fritters ( I had 4 very ripe avocados I had to use TODAY) ... Chopped Avocado Can of Corn (do not use frozen) Salt & Pepper Lots of Paprika 2 Tablespoons Plain Greek Yogurt 2 Eggs Whole Wheat Flour Mix until a very thick, chunky batter. Pan dry in coconut oil (or whatever oil you prefer) Refrigerator Pickles (again) ((We eat these all Summer long ☀️)) Cut Cucumbers (we do both a bowl of spears and slices ) Salt & Pepper 1 teaspoon Sugar White Vinegar (covering all cucumbers) Eat immediately but they get better day by day !!!! 💚 I love creating new, healthy recipes. °•● WELCOME TO THE NEXT CHAPTER OF MY LIFE °•● . . Thank you in advance to everyone who takes the time out to read this post. Please stick with me here as I am super nervous doing this! I'll start by telling you a bit about myself. I am 25 years old, I have been with my partner since I was 15, we have two beautiful children, our daughter Evelyn is 3 and our son Jesse is 7 weeks old. . I am very fortunate to have a very happy life with an amazing family however, one thing I desperately want to improve is my health and fitness! I constantly find myself wishing my body was different and have never doing enough about it! Since having my second child I am absolutely determined to be the best version of myself that I have ever been. I have set myself various little goals which I am looking forward to sharing with you all over the next few days, weeks, months and hopefully in 12 months time I'll be able to look back and say "yes! look at what I have achieved!" I no longer want to be that person who sits behind a screen and says "I wish..." I want to be the person who says "I did it" and I hope to be able to inspire other people to do the same. It is sooo easy to lose your confidence after having a baby, your body changes and you change with it but we do not have to let the way we feel about our bodies hold us back from working towards what we really want because we feel it is "unrealistic" which I have personally done between having my 1st and 2nd baby! . Here is a review from the last cleanse: Over the years I have tried a handful of different cleanses. Some more successful and impactful than others. Hannah’s cleanse is near the top. A lot of the people (guys and girls) I follow post a lot about the strength training or how they’re building their endurance. . I’m guilty of focusing on strength, and use high rep cycles to build me endurance (Whoo German Volume Training!). . One thing I’ve noticed is that very few talk about how they stay flexible. Solid meat based nutrition plus strength is great, but if you can’t bend over and touch your toes I think you’re lacking an aspect of fitness and adaptability. . I always include 10-15 minutes of deep stretches (especially after leg day due to load and volume) so that I can flex, bend, and otherwise maintain or improve that aspect of my health. This picture is of me getting into position for a deep quad stretch. I’ll lay back as far as I can here to really lengthen that muscle group. It’s uncomfortable, but that’s how I know it’s working. . This is by far the best restaurant of Nice ! Nothing is comparable to the freshness and the taste of their fresh produce and authentic flavour. The ingredients are simply exquisite! I wanted to feel content in our geographic location and see a future in a specific location. After many moves, many states, hours of conversation and lots of trial and error, we found it. . We found our tribe that came together in an unusual way and it feels so great. The conversations flow naturally, we lean on each other for help and guidance and we laugh. A lot. . Since most of us are transplants, we miss our family. We miss gathering over meals and playing cards and sharing stories. So we decided to make our own family dinners. And yesterday we did an bi-monthly installment of our “family dinners” hosted this week, by us. . We got to open our home and hearts, feed our friends who have become family and watch new relationships start and old ones grow. This is a little bit of a strange concoction. Spicy sweet potato fries, shrimp, black beans, butternut squash, okra and corn topped with a chia, pepita and cranberry mix. I just threw all of this in a toaster oven and let it bake for about a half hour before throwing into the bowl. I was working late last night which was a bit of drag but my night go so much better when I discovered a package from @shelbys_hh  had arrived 😍😍 Obviously I had to try out one of their bars on my oats this morning! Probably the hardest decision I’ll make all day was which flavour to have on my oats - peanut butter, coconut and dark choc OR almond, turmeric, coconut and yoghurt 😅 I loveeeee peanut butter and turmeric with my oats so this was I tough one, but I ended up going with the turmeric bar - what would you choose? 😋 I’m very happy with my decision cause the bar tasted AMAZING and the yoghurt base got all melty on my oats 👌🏼 • Oatmeal bowl: rolled oats, flax seed, milk, mashed banana, turmeric, nutmeg, cinnamon and maca powder @180nutrition  Toppings: yoghurt @chobaniau , banana slices, strawberries, maple syrup, peanut butter @picspeanutbutter  and the almond, turmeric, coconut and yoghurt bar from @shelbys_hh  🥰

Monday’s Munchies🍟 Swipe➡️ To get the deets on this yummy fry dupe! So today’s recipe is inspired by my Gma + her mom. I was over at my Gmas last week and we were talking about our favorite vegetables & she had mentioned that her mom used to make her Turnips that she absolutely loved. Well I had never had Turnips before & you know me I’m always looking for a new veggie to try. So as we were still talking I looked up Turnip ideas and came across Turnip Fries. And anything Fries catches my attention they’re my fave food! But I’m not looking to Fry or coat anything in flour. You know me I’m trying get healthier and lose some weight. So I decided to bake them not fry and use some Parmesan in place of flour. And oh my goodness these are so so yummy. I will be making these anytime I have a fry craving! I hope you give these Turnips a try you won’t be disappointed!! 😋🤤

¡Hola! El fin de semana tenía muchísimo antojo de hacer pizza, solo que esta vez quise hacerla con base de coliflor, es rapidísimo y deliciosa, ¡te enseño a hacerla!. . Ingredientes para la base: .- 1 coliflor . - 1 huevo .- 150 gr de queso mozzarella .- Albahaca .- Orégano .- Sal y Pimienta. Procedimiento: . - Rallamos la coliflor hasta que quede en trocitos muy pequeños, la agregamos al microondas por aproximadamente 8 minutos, después con ayuda de una toalla de cocina, trataremos de quitarle todo el exceso de agua posible. . - Ponemos la coliflor en un bowl y agregamos el huevo, queso mozzarella, sal, pimienta y un poco de orégano. .- Extendemos sobre una bandeja previamente engrasada (en mi caso preferi usar papel encerado), hacemos la forma circular y metemos al horno previamente precalentado a 180° por aproximadamente 20 minutos, la idea es que quede medio doradita la base .- Después es hora de sacar del horno y preparar la pizza como más te guste, yo le agregué salsa de tomate, más queso mozzarella, champiñones, jamón Serrano y aceitunas. .- Volvemos a meter al horno solo hasta que el queso esté derretido, que en mi caso fueron como 5 minutos. Recomiendo bastante esta receta, sabe deliciosa y evitamos comer toda la harina que normalmente tiene la pizza.
