Finding the motivation to recover when you are in the depths of your illness is so difficult and what many people do is spend so much time and energy trying to resist their thoughts and behaviours. This is absolutely exhausting.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Focusing your energy on building a more compassionate relationship with yourself and being kind to yourself is much more likely to create space for you to begin to feel motivated, empowered and inspired. Faz exatamente uma semana que fiz a última publicação por aqui. Essa pausa foi necessária, pensei até estendê-la um pouco mais. Só que não. O trabalho dá significado à nossa vida. Estou em recuperação de uma colecistectomia (retirada da vesícula biliar) realizada dia 11/10. No momento em que eu cheguei no quarto do hospital, soube que meu sogro sofreu um AVC isquêmico. Foi um susto. Voltei pra casa no sábado e hoje estou retomando as aulas do treinamento Mindfulness: atenção plena para iniciantes e os atendimentos online. Tudo o que temos é o agora. Quando conseguimos trazer nossa atenção para o momento presente, a vida flui como deve ser. Isso não significa que problemas não ocorrerão, mas que você não precisa ser governado por eles. Rumi, um poeta sufista sintetizou essa verdade ao escrever "A hospedaria". "Ser humano é como ser uma hospedaria onde todas as manhãs há uma nova chegada. Uma alegria, uma depressão, uma.mesquinharia, uma percepção momentânea que chega, como visitantes inesperados. Acolha e distrai todos! My diaphragmatic breathing practice. You might notice it took about 3 deep breaths to really get my belly pump moving. At almost 39 weeks pregnant it’s definately harder to access and get full inhalation’s and exhalations. I also need to be relaxed before starting this 🙄😂. I get the rhythm eventually. This is the most basic practice I do. It is all about practicing the movement and listening to your body. I also add in different pumping and pelvic floor activation exercises, which I can cover later.💪🏼 You need to be able to feel your ribs expanding and your diaphragm filling up all the way round ur ribs on the inhale. It might feel like a subtle expansion around your lower /mid back and sides. You can always place your hands here to feel the connection. As you exhale, slowly draw in your abdomen , visualizing below the belly button. Think about bringing your TVA (corset muscles ) together and gently hugging your baby. 🤗 You’re looking for that gentle drawing in and lifting. I like to incorporate some pelvic floor activation as I draw my belly in. You may want to start lying on your back on the ground with your head propped up a little if you are able to, depending on what stage of your pregnancy and going with how you feel. You should always feel empowered to make your own decision about what feels right “for your body “ everyone is different. If you had an hour glass representing how many days you have left to live sitting on your kitchen table...would it change your decisions today? The lifestyle I describe through my content is a way of living/thinking/being to ensure you aren’t taking your days for granted, and you are doing what’s in your control. It helps to accept everything that’s out of our control as a result. - The lifestyle I preach to you and live myself puts me outside of this illusion into a conscious state of empowered gratitude. I prioritize my life & health, choose the direction I want, take responsibility for my part(which is all of it), and take action daily. - Stop caring what anyone thinks, and finally commit to taking care of you. I get this is hard for many, but damn is it worth it once you live this life. - We get one shot at greatness down here, so if you answered yes to the questions above, time to make change. Fazer uma refeição conectado é estar presente. É não fazer nada além de comer. É olhar para os alimentos e ver seus detalhes naturais ou as transformações pelas quais passaram após o cozimento. In a world full of stress and anxiety being able to relax and work on your mental health is really needed. Mindfulness and meditation are the best way to do that. Now what do we mean by that ? By working on yourself through meditation you won’t be able to decrease stress only, but you also train your brain to be stronger, more powerful and reach inner peace. And this has been proven through many studies and researches. Some benefits of meditation: Increase blood flow on your brain. Reduce blood pressure and heart rate. You guys, we’re half way through October!! Which means that I am half way through my TWO October challenges! 🎉🙌🏻🎉🙌🏻🎉🙌🏻🎉🙌🏻🎉🙌🏻🎉🙌🏻🎉 . It’s 17 days since I last had a sip of alcohol, and while for many that wouldn’t be much of an exploit, I’m quite a social person and I love a nice glass of wine, so I’m quite proud of myself at this point 😁 I think the weather’s been so gloomy that all I’ve been wanting to do is lay on the sofa and watch Netflix with a cuppa 👵🏻 Living the dream I tell ya!! Btw there’s still plenty of time to donate if you’d like to help me go through the second half of my @gosoberuk  challenge, and support @macmillancancer  🙃🙂 link in my bio👆🏻 . ... and then today was class 15 of 30 of my @barrysuk  Legend membership challenge - half way to the graal 🏆 Although that one scares me a little more as I can feel my body getting quite tired and I still have to do it all over again 🥴 I’ve also been getting a really nasty headache every day for the past 3 days which isn’t great 🤕 So far it subsided in the afternoon so I was able to drag myself to an evening class, so fingers crossed it doesn’t stop me from reaching the finish line 🤞🏻 . So anyway, half way into October and overall I’m pretty pleased with myself, and also a little surprised by the way I’m adapting to my new normal. I have found settling into this new routine a lot easier than I had anticipated. And I am enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would too... I enjoy never being hangover, I enjoy not spending all my money in pubs and most of all, I enjoy moving my body every single day. LOVE it and NEED it as I’m not entirely sure why, but my anxiety has flared up quite badly these past 2-3 weeks, so this daily fix of @barrys  helps me cope and keeps me sane as I ride this wave of negativity. Never underestimate the magical effects of exercise on your mind, your mood, your spirits folks! It’s the most therapeutic thing I know ♥️ . You will never ever find me without these three products this fall/winter. Vanillamint pink Himalayan salt scrub, poppyseed sugar lip scrub, and lip luxe moisturizing lip treatment. We have so much more than essential oils, but I’m also kind of obsessed that our products are infused with the best oils in the world. 🙌🏼 once I realized that so many of my fave body and beauty products were scented with synthetic fragrances I was ready to say✌🏼out and make a change. I haven’t switched everything over yet, but you can rest assured that we are d-o-n-e with anything containing perfumes or fragrances.😷 there’s no need, with products that smell this good, naturally! completely unrelated, but these slippers have seen better days, and I’m in the market for a durable and cozy pair. Spring time here in the south of the world🌸🌼🌺🌻🌷Spring time in my heart and soul. New challenges can be overwhelming sometimes and gets very hard to not fall into stress and anxiety. For me is an old habit that I’m trying hard to get rid of, because doesn’t define me anymore. Personally, I tend to lose my faith in the architecture of the universe, forgetting who I am, feeling an strange in the world and even in my own body. Practicing everyday gratitude, meditation and being in contact with nature and animals is a way to come back home, connecting my soul and body. My ego wants to keep me safe in excuses and old situations, but I choose to close my eyes, shut my mind and learn to enjoy the chaos. 🌹🌙 Après avoir pris ces merveilleux clichés artistiques 😂 je vais vous expliquer pourquoi j'ai décidé d'arrêter la pilule et cela de façon progressive. Ça y est la décision est prise en janvier 2020 j'arrête la pilule, il est temps de dire stop aux hormones que je prends depuis plus de 11 ans déjà. Cette prise de décision découle du fait que je veux faire beaucoup plus attention à ma santé, et prendre soin de moi mais aussi pour être plus en accord avec mes convictions. (Attention je ne vous incite en aucun cas à faire comme moi, je sais qu'il y'a certaines personnes qui sont obligé de prendre ce moyen de contraception par exemple pour l'endométriose !).Effectivement la pilule contraceptive serai en cause de la " féminisation des poissons" par exemple. Ayant aussi quelques troubles psychologiques je me suis dit que ça serai peut être sympa de voir ce que ça donnerai sans pilule, qui est championne en changement d'humeur ! Une si petite pilule qui impacte autant notre corps et notre esprit, mais aussi notre environnement, ça donne à réfléchir.. Pourquoi le faire de façon progressive ? Tout simplement car me concernant j'ai eu d'assez gros soucis d'acné dans le passé, le fait de faire un arrêt progressif habitue le corps petit à petit à la diminution d'hormones sans créer de "choc", ce qui limiterai les effets indésirables. Donc voilà en résumé !
