Oh heyyy insta, long time no post (except for my stories of course 😂)! ICYMI, I’ve -finally- completed my Certificate IV in Fitness — meaning that I am now a certified Personal Trainer in Australia! This is a huge milestone for me. A year ago I took a chance on study — my first decent study commitment in nearly two decades — both for personal and career developmental reasons, and I really feel that it was worth every cent.
The big question everyone keeps asking me is “where to from here?”. It is customary for many fitness students to jump straight into the workforce, and generally speaking there are many opportunities for them to do so.
Truth is, as someone whom has educated others on many topics over the years, I have a strong desire to fully understand my subjects before sharing them with audiences, and I love to provide unique experiences that you would not receive elsewhere (that... doesn’t sound right... you know what I mean. 🤣). This means that I’ve still got some niche studies ahead - a small course this week, then a couple more as funds permit and then some final business tidbits before putting myself out there. I have a clear vision of how I want this all to play out, but life works in mysterious ways so I’ll be grateful for the journey regardless of what happens!
I -may- take on some private in-home clients soon once insurances etc are sorted. Drop me a line if you’re keen and it could encourage me to accelerate the process a little. 😘
TL,DR: I’m now a PT, but I’m still going back to my books. Never stop learning. 😜📚
