I’m getting ready to head out to Louisiana again for an action packed week. Kalaia is being featured on two television shows (Great Day Louisiana and Louisiana Living), a speaking engagement at a luncheon organized with the support of the local Chamber of Commerce, two Kalaia Opportunity Events, and a speaking engagement at a luncheon organized by the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. What an incredible momentum our team is built in Louisiana. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Today two people asked me what’s Kalaia’s secret to its success in LA. I ask that question myself all the time and here’s how I answered it. It all started almost exactly a year ago when one woman, who joined Kalaia for the discount, chose to not give up when she was left with no support in the market. What started with her has now grown to an incredible team of so many savvy women working together to build their dreams. But I truly believe the grit and perseverance of these strong Louisiana women has so much to do with how much they are challenged by Mother Nature. The flooding, to storms, to hurricanes, they are constantly beaten up but I’m so surprised at how positive they are about all of it even when their homes are destroyed and belongings are washed away. They never feel sorry for themselves; they never once complain or make excuses; and they pick right back up and move forward with a smile on their faces. These women always see the glass half full and count their blessings. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I simply admire their strength and perseverance. I’m blessed to have them in my life and I never doubt their success. They are just getting started.
