Feelings are messengers. If you try to ignore and suppress them, you will pay for it later. Feelings may be unpleasant, or highly welcome - but what they have in common is that they are all temporary. They come and go.
If you have recently experienced a difficult part of your life, you may feel overwhelmed with negative feelings at times. Acknowledge these feelings. Feel through them. Breathe through them. If this is too hard at this moment, journal about them. Writing can help you process what is happening, and how you feel. .
Feeling your feelings does not mean you have to endlessly sit in sadness, or in fear. Acknowledging your feelings is one thing, choosing how you intend to feel when you wake up, and make plans accordingly, can help you take your power back, which will increase self-esteem, and a happier state. .
Healing comes in waves. At some point you feel you may have healed, but out of the blue you may feel overwhelmed by yet another wave of healing. This is life though. There’s always a lesson. The whole point is that we grow and evolve. What do you do to aid your healing? ❤️👇🏻
