ok so this is supposed to be a little funny but i’m still going to address the context of this video.
as humans, we’re always complaining why bad things happen to us. we question “why me” over & over again. we fail to see the good in bad - we fail to see the beauty in a tragedy. so “why me” you may question. it may have been an important meeting you were late to, or an important event you forgot to attend. an important person you forgot to text, or the traffic lights that stopped you at the wrong time. it might have been the death of a loved one, or the distancing of your close friend, it may have been a heartbreak or it may have been loss. we see the pain, we feel it, what we don’t see is how god protected you from that person you thought you were going to marry; because they weren’t right for you. what we don’t see is, if those traffic lights didn’t stop you; maybe you would’ve faced an accident. what we don’t see is, remember that meeting you were late to? maybe there was some good in it too - maybe god was protecting you from something. or was planning something bigger & that wouldn’t have happened if you got to the meeting early - or maybe, you never would’ve made it if something happened to you on the way. see, God works in mysterious ways. He protects you at times you think you don’t need protection - but you do. your eyes fail to see the good in everything bad that happens to you - but you’re human, it’s natural to feel so. but don’t make it a habit - to think like this, for He is not one you can comprehend. He may be protecting you from that which you think is good & He may be giving you that which you think is bad. so be patient & be calm, for God will never burden your shoulders more than they can bear & He will never take more than He gives. His giving is not always in the form that we want; rather what we need. & no one knows that best, other than Him. so be patient, for everything that happens in your life; even the smallest of things, play a big role in your protection & for your betterment. - sadeqa.
