There are always two sides...
We show what we want you to see. The ‘bad’ is not luxurious, who wants to post that? But in every good photo there are 10 bad or not so good.
I could have posted the first one and put a motivational post on how I’m super motivated and how I keep myself motivated. But I’m not always motivated; and that’s why I don’t post that stuff everyday.
The second photo is after a hard workout, trying to get some good content to post how you have to push yourself past your limits. How you have to be your own motivation even on a gloomy day like today.
Slouched. Weird angle. Bad lighting.
But that photo does not make me less of a boss babe. It’s still me. It’s probably more me than the first photo.
Remember that even if you’re the fittest person out there, you still have some not so luxurious photos. Or if your on your way to becoming happier and healthier in your journey; don’t beat yourself up because your belly looks a little fluffy. Or your back doesn’t look as toned. Or your legs aren’t as defined.
Photos can be an illusion sometimes , that’s why it’s best to take your progress photos in similar lighting and style for the best pump up!
Here’s to seeing the good and the not so good side to every photo but embracing what your body is and how far you’ve come and how far you will go!
